Ladies and Gentlemen,

Ride Captain Sparky Cox in the Sherman/Denison area passed along this very
thoughtful message from the family of PGR member Bill Christison, who was a
very active PGR member in SE Oklahoma and in the Sherman/Denison area before
recently passing away. He is greatly missed. The mission was well attended
and the sentiment from his family is obvious.

The family of SFC Wm. "Bill" Christison would like to extend their most
grateful appreciation to the Patriot Guard Riders, Viet Nam Vets, Guard
Dogs, Southern Cruisers, American Iron Riders, 3 Valley Riders, Faith
Riders, Trinity Baptist Church and CMA, for their participation in Bill's
final ride, on Saturday May 30th.

There are no finer people in this world than those that came together one
week ago Saturday, to once again help this family lay to rest and honor, a
loved one.

Bill loved his participation with the Patriot Guard, and was so honored to
be a part of each mission he attended. He thought the world of each and
every one of you, and was most proud of the friendships he gained and
treasured with the PGR.

A special thanks to James Abernathy for conducting Bill's service, the third
member of this family James has now helped lay to rest. No words can express
what you and Jan have meant to this family. We love you.

To the Patriot Guard Riders and Viet Nam Vets that acted as Bill's
pallbearers, we could not have entrusted any finer people with that final
task. Your tears did not go unnoticed, and we are most honored for your gift
of love and respect for Bill. He would have had it no other way.

David Englehart, once again your service to this family has proven
invaluable, and your compassion and professionalism is above reproach. Bill
so treasured your friendship and held the utmost respect for you.

Pappy, Ronnie, Butch - Bill loved you guys so much - we did what we could so
you could hear KSU and taps, out on the road in California. Bill knows you
were a part of his final mission and we know it meant the world to him.

Lastly, Jerry Lakey - You blessed his service to this country, and it
changed his life completely. It was meant to come some 30 years late and it
was meant to come from you. Thank you for the gift that meant so much to
him.

To those that stood for over an hour in the sun, we are blessed for your
patriotism, dedication and honor once again. No words adequately express our
grattitude.

No finer group of people indeed. We are proud to be a small part of this
awesome group of people and are humbled by your overwhelming love and
respect once again bestowed on this family in a time of great loss.

No words can express what you all have given us, how much you mean to us or
how blessed we are, to be even a small part of you.

We love you all, and remain forever grateful.

Family of SFC Wm. "Bill" Christison
GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.

Steve Lucas

Deputy State Captain
