PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Update on the 302nd

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

We have yet to hear from the Captain of the 302nd MP Company regarding their
homecoming ceremony.  We did hear from Edith Smith, who's nephew is in the
Company.  They were told that the ceremony for today was cancelled and no
reason given.  I am told that the members of the unit were disappointed.  I
am also told that they are not released from duty until Tuesday so I
interpret this as anything can happen.  It is, after all, the military.

 

Unless and until we hear differently we will consider this potential mission
a "stand down."

 

We currently have a confirmed mission for Wednesday in Greenville and we
have just been contacted about a possible mission this week for a WWII
Veteran that will occur in the metroplex.  If that mission is confirmed
you'll know as soon as I can get the word out to you.
