The PGR has been asked to provide pall bearers. We will need 6 volunteers.

We will set up flags at the funeral home but not stand the flag line during
the visitation. We will then set up flags at the gravesite and stand the
line at the gravesite only due to the extreme heat warning.

Due to the extreme weather we are encouraging Riders to use cages. We will
only need two or three big flag bikes to escort the hearse to the gravesite
which is on the premises.

Weather: Sunny 102 "Hot"

Safety First: Hydration: Begin hydrating lightly a day or two before and
increase use of salty snacks. Two hours before departure to the mission
drink from 12 to 24 oz. of water. Continue to drink small amounts of water
at more frequent intervals as the day goes. Remember, even if you find
yourself in a nice air conditioned room. You may no longer need water to
allow for sweating, but you will need to replace the water lost since your
last hydrations. "Your Safety Is Our Number One Priority".

The flag/water truck will be present for this mission

Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this veteran and his family.

Respectfully Submitted,

"Rapid" Roy Trimble

North Texas Ride Captain
