PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - Wednesday, March 18, 2009 - John David Latimer

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The family of John David Latimer has asked the Patriot Guard to participate
in the final services for this World War II Veteran of the United States
Navy.  Mr. Latimer was a Lieutenant Commander and fighter pilot who flew the
Grumman F6F Hellcat off of the USS Enterprise and USS Hornet in the Pacific
in 1943 and 1944.

 

This mission will consist of a flag line prior to the memorial service,
scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM on Eagle Ford Drive in Dallas, followed by a
short escort to the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery for an interment
service, scheduled for 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2009.

 

A final itinerary will be posted as soon as details are determined.

 

Let's all stand tall and silent for this member of the Greatest Generation.
