PGR_NTX Patriot Guard April first Update

Mission Information For North Texas PGR mission at txpgr.org

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Just a quick update about the response to the request for responses for
riders for the April 1 ride from DFW Airport to Gainesville. Many, many
thanks to all of you who have responded so far. There is no way I can
e-mail each of you personally but thank you all very much for taking the
time. We are at something over 90 responses and counting.

Please don't stop responding, even through next week and beyond. If you
find out you can come on this escort, please let me know at
pgrlucas at charter.net. As our numbers grow, law enforcement needs to know.
It's directly related to our safety and the safety of the travelling public.
I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't important.

Time for the escort to leave the airport is still 5:00 PM. We will be
escorted by law enforcement the entire way. Those of you who rode the
mission where we escorted the KIA to Oklahoma will remember that ride. This
will be very similar, but with more traffic between the airport and the
interstate. Deputy King, the same man who set that up, is also in charge on
this one.

Wouldn't it be exciting if, after all that these recipients have seen and
done, WE were able to make a memory for them that lasted them a life time?
What a great opportunity and what a great honor.

Please let me keep hearing from you as your plans firm up if you plan on
being there. Thank you all, very much for taking the time to do so, and
thank you all for everything you do to make all of our missions a success.

Steve Lucas

Deputy State Captain
