PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Message From Far South Region

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

Below is a message sent from Dan Creswell, "Diver Dan", the Deputy State
Captain of the Far South Texas Region.  Sounds like they're planning quite a
party down there.

 

We in South Texas are hosting a Patriots Weekend, our own Gathering of the
Guard of sorts.  We have worked hard and raised the money to rent out a
local KOA at Lake Corpus Chrisit for the weekend of 18-20 Sept 2009.  We
will be having live music, vendors, some local rides through the area here
around the lake and through some of our more scenic routes.  We are putting
alot of work into this and hope to make it an annual event for us.  We are
working on fliers and will be getting them out soon.  I'll also post it on
the Texas thread, but that may not be enough.  This will be a family
friendly event, we have cabins for rent as well as campsites.  It will be a
good time and hope we can get some of our PGR family from around the state
to visit us here in South Texas.  I'll send updates and more information as
it comes available.  Right now, we just want to get the info out to the rest
of the state.  Anyone interested in sites or cabins can contact Stephanie
Hanks stevie78362 at yahoo.com or Tim Settle Settle4it at yahoo.com.  The cabins
are going fast, so they may want to get in touch with them soon.  We are
still working on prices for the general entry and that will be out as soon
as I get it.  Hope you all can make it.
