Memorial Day - American Legion Post 21 has invited the PGR to attend a
Memorial Day Ceremony at the Five Star Veterans Memorial. It will start at
8:00 a.m. with the singing of the National Anthem. They will honoring one
of their local heroes who was KIA in Afghanistan and who will be awarded the
Fallen Soldiers plaque. The Memorial is located at 4100 Blair Oaks, The
Colony. To fine the Memorial, look for 3 large flag poles. There is a
sports complex with a large parking lot. The Memorial is located at the
east end of the parking lot. If you need further information, call Dewey

May 23-24 - American Legion Post 218 in Irving is putting on a collections
event for our soldiers deployed or deploying and for the Texas Military
Family Foundation (TMFF - <http://www.tmff.us/> www.tmff.us) headquarters
at Ft. Hood. The event will take place at Toyota of Irving located at 1999
W. Airport Frwy in Irving, TX on the Memorial Day weekend, May 23-24 (Sat,
Sunday). The dealership is located on the North side of the Frwy between
MacArthur Story Rd. We need riders for traffic control, meet and greet,
flags, PR for PGR. Soldiers from Ft Hood that have been deployed and fixing
to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan will be our guests. Full media coverage
will be announced prior to the event. We will be setting up Friday and will
take down Sunday. The hours will be around approx 0900 to 1900 Sat, 0900 to
1500 Sunday. Food will be catered in and Porta Potties will be there as our
guest too. Some of you know me. I am the guy in the red ford truck
(American Legion, Commander written on it) that travels with David Hall and
the Liberty Bell & I'm also a member of the PGR. I also will be
requesting the Legion Riders to participate in this operation. The name of
