PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - May 23, 2009 - Hearthstone Assisted Living

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The North Texas PGR has been asked to come to Hearthstone Assisted Living
Facility in Lewisville on May 23, 2009 (delayed from the original invitation
from Armed Forces Day due to our previously scheduled meet and greet) to
meet with the residents there, some of whom are veterans, and to spend about
an hour with them.  We will stage at a location away from the property and
the folks will be assembled outside so they may see us arrive.  World War II
music will play, photo opportunities for residents on our motorcycles will
be had and it will give us a chance to talk to the folks who live there,
both civilian and veteran alike, about their experiences and thank them for
their contributions to making our country great.

 

The event is currently scheduled for 2:00 PM and should last about an hour.
Refreshments will be served and it's a great opportunity for us to visit one
on one with people and give them a special day.  The address is 400 Highland
Drive in Lewisville and additional details are currently being worked on.
It's sure to be a good time for everyone.  A final itinerary will be
published as soon as the details are known.

 

It's so very important for us to take advantage of these times around our
national patriotic holidays such as Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day to pay
tribute to those currently serving, those who formerly served, and to those
who have served and passed on.  They earned it.  This and so much more.  And
to those in our own ranks who currently serve and who formerly served.thank
you, also.  Each of you have had a hand in making America great.  Stand tall
and be proud.
