Mission Information For North Texas PGR
mission at txpgr.org
Thu May 14 02:42:37 CDT 2009
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Below please find information from Debbie Horton on another HOTH event.
This event is scheduled on the same day and time as an Honor mission but was
scheduled in advance of our learning of the Honor mission. If anyone is in
the Richardson area and, for some reason, is unable to attend the Honor
mission for First Sergeant Tuquero please give this event a look.
Thank you.
Steve Lucas
Deputy State Captain
North Texas PGR
Friday, May 15th, the Jackson Technology Center in Garland is taking its 8th
grade class to DFW to greet the troops. Afterwards, they will go to
Cottonwood Park in Richardson. They have asked the PGR to come out and talk
to these 8th graders (about 200) about the PGR, who we are, what we do and
why we do it? If you would like to join Rick Crabb and I to help instill a
little patriotism and respect for our veterans and troops into these kids,
please join us. Rick and I will be in my car, so it'd be nice to have a few
motorcycles to really get their attention. The park is located at 1400 W.
Beltline Road in Richardson. We will stage at 9:30 a.m. at the shopping
center on the corner of Coit and Beltline and ride in together about 10:00
a.m. Not mandatory, but if you think you'll be able to come out would you
send me an e-mail (deb at hal-deb.com). If it rains, please don't come out.
They will go back to the school instead of the park. Thanks.
As a side note, the teacher we were contacted by is Ms. Young. Her husband
is a member of 3-124th Raptor, Calvary Reconnaissance/Surveillance Squadron
that we sent off from Wylie last July.
