Ladies and Gentlemen,
Below is the final itinerary for the Oklahoma mission for Bill Christison.
Many may not be aware of how closely our folks in Sherman and Gainesville
work with the S.E. Oklahoma PGR. The border is crossed many times, as if it
doesn't exist, all for the good of our heroes and their families and to
complete our common mission. The PGR knows no borders and this geographic
area is a perfect example of this.
Bill Christison was an integral part of the mission in Oklahoma and was also
one who never failed to cross the border into Texas to attend and assist
with missions on this side of the river. He is missed by those who had the
privilege of knowing him. His service is a PGR service. I am told that the
service will be conducted by a PGR chaplain, that the pall bearers will be
PGR riders and that the PGR will be integrated into all parts of the
services.
Great thanks to Ride Captain Sparky Cox for letting us know about Bill's
passing and for taking the reins and leading the Texas contingent to the
services.
Our deepest condolences go to his family and friends.

Below is a link to the Funeral home. You can get directions to the funeral
home but DO NOT FOLLOW the directions to the cemetery, they are wrong. The
cemetery is located between Madill and Oakland, OK. I tried to get as close
as possible with this link to the gravesite:

I will be at the Dairy Queen on Hwy. 377 in Whitesboro, TX. around 8:30 am
with KSU at 9:00 am to go directly to the cemetery for the flag line and
services. Any and all that would like to ride to Madill with me are more
than welcome. Bill was a very special member of the Patriot Guard Riders
and helped out where and when he could. He always took an active role in
every mission that he attended. Let me tell you, he attended many missions
throughout the years. He was a founder of the "Red Cross" program in
Oklahoma starting with Jamie Finch. My hat is off for SFC William V. (Bill)
Christison. May God Bless You And Your Family.
