Flags at DFW National Cemetery
The flags for the Avenue of Flags at the D/FW National Cemetery will go up Saturday, November 7th at 8:00 a.m. for Veterans Day.
 
The Veterans Day Program will be held Wednesday, November 11th at 3:00 p.m.
 
On Saturday, November 14th at 8:00 a.m., the flags have to come down and be folded.
 
There are approximately 300 flags that have to be put up on the 7th and taken down and folded on the 14th.  This is a big job done almost entirely by volunteers and help is always needed and appreciated.  If you’d like to help, please come out on the 7th and the 14th at 8:00 a.m.
 
If you’ve never been out there to see these flags flying, you are really missing a very impressive sight.
