Mission Name: 

Frisco Veterans Parade


Ride Captain: 

None Assigned


Mission: 

The North Texas Patriot Guard has been asked to join in the Frisco Veterans
Parade entry of the Tri County Veterans Honor Guard, Commanded by Mr. Gene
Allen.  We have ridden with this fine organization before and it is a great
honor to be asked to be with them again.  They are a marching unit that
leads many parades and events, and they also have a couple of military
vehicles at their disposal.

While motorcycles and parades sometimes don't get along, the weather will be
favorable and another advantage in being with this unit is that we are in
the front of the parade.  That means we will step off on time without
waiting for the rest of the parade to move out and we will keep moving
without the "accordion effect" of stopping and starting all along the parade
route.  In this parade, we will be entry #3, behind a fire truck and police
car.  It just doesn't get much better than that.

Important - When you get to the staging area, tell them you are with entry
number 3 and they will show you where to go.  Attached to this e-mail is a
printable number 3 if you would like to have it for your windshield and a
map of the staging area.

Details Of Part 1: 

Staging is at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, in the SE section of the parking
lot.

Due to the short notice, a Ride Captain is NOT being assigned. Ride Captains
who participate in the event will share the Ride Captain duties.

This promises to be a great parade in the city of Frisco and the Tri County
Veterans Honor Guard is doing is a great honor by allowing us to join them
and be the first entry in the parade to show respect for the veterans.

Let's make an extra effort to get out there and show our support!!

Weather Forecast: 

Forecast is for mostly cloudy with a high of 78 degrees.


Comments: 

- Safety First: With warmer weather, please remember to properly hydrate
(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress
appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you
need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time.
Also please do not forget your sun screen.

	
Please bring your own water/sports drink.

The Tri County Veterans Honor Guard has invited us to participate in other
upcoming events with them so let's make sure we have a great showing at this
one. They have been very kind to us in the past and are a great group of
people.
