[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

Below is information regarding the Snowball Express airport escorts on
December 9, 2009 from DFW airport to the hotels.  Also included is a link to
take you to the sign-up sheet.  You may return to the sign-up sheet to alter
your information if you need to but you must do it from the same computer
where you started the survey and not erase your cookies.  If you don't know
what computer cookies are, don't worry about them.  Just complete the brief
survey and you'll be all signed up.  Changes, additional details and other
information will be posted on the North Texas PGR web site at
<http://www.txpgr.org> www.txpgr.org.  Just click on the button for Snowball
Express and all the latest information will be there.

 

Staging is at 10:00 AM in Parking Lot 5E at DFW International Airport.  This
parking lot is accessed off of the northbound service road inside the
airport at crossunder number 6.  It is marked as employee parking.  You do
NOT go through the toll booths to get to this parking area.  We will stage
with the busses in this lot.  Please be on time.  We will have a briefing as
soon as final instructions are received from Snowball Express.  If you are
not signing up for the first escort, your staging time is 30 minutes prior
to your first one.  The current general plan is for a group of riders, to
include a Ride Captain and at least one big flag bike, to move to the
terminal (through a toll plaza) with the busses when called up and leave the
airport via the South exit and head for a hotel location in Dallas.  When
you arrive at the hotel location you will pull in with the busses and when
the busses stop to load you will leave them there and return to the staging
area at the airport to prepare for another run.  While one group is
conducting an escort, other groups will be being called up and beginning the
next escort, etc.  You are going to be asked on the form for your motorcycle
license plate number.  We will turn that number in ahead of time and having
that number will prevent you from being charged the toll.  Please bring your
own food and water/beverage as needed.  Law Enforcement is scheduled to
accompany each escort.  Additional details will be provided at the on-site
briefing.
