Mission Information For North Texas PGR

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Below is information regarding the Snowball Express escorts on December 12,
2009 from the Dallas hotels to breakfast for the participants, then to
Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. There will be a motorcycle ride-in to Cowboys
Stadium where the riders will watch a concert with the participants followed
by riding out of the stadium to stage to escort the busses back to the
hotels, with the exception of several busses that will be escorted to the
American Airlines Center. Also included is a link to take you to the
sign-up sheet. You may return to the sign-up sheet to alter your
information if you need to but you must do it from the same computer where
you started the survey and not erase your cookies. If you don't know what
computer cookies are, don't worry about them. Just complete the brief
survey and you'll be all signed up. Changes, additional details and other
information will be posted on the North Texas PGR web site at
<http://www.txpgr.org> www.txpgr.org. Just click on the button for Snowball
Express and all the latest information will be there.
Staging is at 9:00 AM sharp at the hotels. Please refer to the web site for
the exact staging area for your hotel and allow time for traffic in Dallas
when planning your travel time. Please try and not stray too far from the
staging location or be gone for too long. The Ride Captain at your location
will be checking last minute details with Snowball Express, transportation
personnel, Law Enforcement, lead PGR personnel, etc. There will be a
briefing at your location by the Ride Captain. The procession will pull out
when Snowball Express says it is ready. This is not the call of the Ride
Captain so please be prepared!
The first escort of the day will be to take the participants to breakfast.
At this time the location for this breakfast has not yet been determined.
Keep an eye on the North Texas PGR website at www.txpgr.org for additional
details. The next escort will be to a central location - to be determined
by the Dallas Police Department - where the busses and riders will be staged
for a mass procession to Cowboys Stadium. Some are calling this an actual
"Snowball Express". There will be approximately 43 busses, support
vehicles, Law Enforcement and the Patriot Guard Riders all in one formation
descending on Cowboys Stadium from Dallas. It ought to be quite a show. If
you are a cager and have a Patriotically Decorated Vehicle - something
really nice - bring it along and we can put it in the procession. Once
there, the participants will go inside the stadium where the Cowboys have a
number of events planned for them, including current and former Cowboys
greats on hand, star athletes from other sports, tours of the stadium,
field, locker rooms, etc., cheerleaders to take the girls on tours and onto
the field, food, activities, etc. We will stand down then following a
briefing until time to line up for a motorcycle ride into the stadium. The
exact time and exact location for that staging has not yet been determined
by the organizers. Keep an eye on the web site for that information. We
will ride into the stadium and onto the playing field as an opening for a
concert for the Lt. Dan Band, let by actor and supporter of our military
troops Gary Sinese. We will ring the field and park the bikes. Commercial
kick stand pads must be used and they will be checked prior to entering the
stadium. No kickstand pad - no entry. We are looking for between 300-500
bikes for this ride-in. We will not be fed during the concert but it is OK
to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverage. Our seating will be
either on the turf or on your bike. If you bring it in, carry it out.
Leave no trash behind. After the concert (about 90 minutes as I currently
understand) we will ride out of the stadium and stage to escort the busses
back to the hotels and one group of busses to American Airlines Center. It
will be dark when we leave. Reflective clothing is recommended.
Law enforcement is scheduled to be present at each escort and will be
present in numbers at the stadium. Please bring your own food and
water/beverage as required. Additional details will be provided at the
on-site briefings.
