Hilbert Plaque Presentation 

On October 16, 2009 the Patriot Guard Riders were honored to attend a plaque presentation by the Fallen Heroes Foundation to the family of CPL Thomas L. Hilbert, USA.  It was presented at half-time of a Venus (Texas) High School football game - the same field that Thomas played on three short years ago.  

 

34 bikes and one cage turned out and we were honored by the City of Venus by being allowed to ride around the field, with Thomas' mother Theresa on the back of one of our bikes, parking in front of the home stands, and proudly Standing Tall and Silent once again for this family who sacrificed their only son for our freedom.  It couldn't have been a better night.

 

The family was most appreciative of our being there with our continued support for them, two years after we first met them.

 

Mission Complete.
