Mission: 


Mr. Mahaffey passed away on October 20, 2009 in Denton at the age of 63. He had been stationed while in the Air Force at Dyess AFB in Abilene and while living in Abilene also worked at Timex and coached the United Girls Softball Association. Mr. Mahaffey was retired from the Victor Equipment Corporation in Denton as an Electrical and Maintenance Mechanic.

Our part of the final services for Mr. Mahaffey will be to provide a flag line at his visitation in Denton. He will be interred in Abilene.

We will set up the flag line and stand tall and silent as family and guests come and go at the funeral home.

Weather Forecast: 


By the time of the visitation the weather forecast for Denton calls for mostly cloudy skies with a temperature in the middle 50s with a less than 10% chance of rain and winds from the Northwest at around 14 miles per hour.

Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.





Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family.





Please remember that part of this mission, including the ride home, will take place after dark. Reflective clothing is recommended for all riders in the interest of personal safety. If they can see you, maybe they won't kill you.

Let's make an effort to come and pay our respects to this veteran and his family during the only part of his final services that the North Texas contingent of the PGR will have to do so.
