PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Honor Flight

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Honor Flight

 

North Texas Patriot Guard have been asked to participate in an event for the
Honor Flight Network which is a non-profit organization created solely to
honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. They transport our heroes
to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. They are
bringing in 34 WWII Heroes and 21 "guardians" for the flight out of Dallas
Love Field.

 

The Patriot Guard have been asked to show up at Love Field (in the main
Lobby area) on Monday morning October 26th to show support and honor these
veterans with a send off as they depart on Southwest Airlines for
Washington, DC. They will be returning on Tuesday evening October 27th on
Southwest Airlines. We will attempt to have the Patriot Guard banner in the
lobby.

 

Show time for the Departure: Monday October 26, 2009 at 6 AM in the main
terminal lobby.

Southwest Airlines flight # 139 is scheduled for departure at 8 AM, this
will give us an opportunity to visit with these hero's of the Greatest
Generation .

 

Show time to Welcome these veterans back home will be Tuesday October 27 at
5:45 PM

Southwest Airlines flight #311, scheduled to land at 6:26 PM

 

This will be a great opportunity to pay tribute to those brave men and women
who fraught in WWII, a war that truly threatened our very existence as a
nation. Our Nation owes a debt of gratitude to each of them.
