The Administration, Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Clyde W. "Sparky" Cosper, Texas State Veterans Home have arranged a ceremony to honor our Veterans.  There will be many Veterans, dignitaries and the guest speaker will be Congressman Ralph Hall.  This will be located in Bonham, TX behind the Bonham VA Hospital.
The Committee for this event has asked the Patriot Guard to help on a few activities:
Have an information table under the main tent for the Patriot Guard
Assist with directing parking
Post our flags around the main stage on two occasions
Assist with the service appreciation pins and certificates (pin the Vets)
They have also asked that we wear blue jeans, white shirt and our respective vests, THIS IS NOT MANDATORY, but requested.
Furthermore, they have asked that after the ceremonies that the Patriot Guard Riders enter the Veterans Home and pin those Veterans that could not make it outside for the event.  We would like to have PGR Riders from all Services Branches to attend to "pin" the Vets of their respective Branch in both the ceremony and afterward.
 
Ceremony Date and Time: Wednesday November 11, 2009 @ 12:30 pm with "Ride Captain Meeting" beginning at 12:35 pm.
 
If you can attend, please do and let's show these veterans how much we respect and honor their service to this country.
 
Final Itinerary to be issued on or about November 5, 2009.
