Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have been informed just now by the people at accidentscene.org that there
are currently insufficient numbers registered for the basic and advanced
classes to make those classes happen in Bridgeport on the 7th and 8th of
next month. There is still time to register for these classes but they have
given us only until 9:00PM tonight to do so. Hopefully they might fudge
that time a little if they are close to the number but whether they do or
not is out of our control.

I encourage anyone who is thinking about going to these classes to go on
line at http://accidentscene.org/schedule.htm#tx and get registered right
away. It is riders who set this up and riders who raised the money for us
to be able to pay a discounted rate for these classes. The instructors will
be coming from Houston and it is understandable that they would not want to
spend their time and money to come up here if folks aren't interested.

You may check out the host organization at www.accidentscene.org and
register for the classes at the web site above. All of us will benefit from
the knowledge gained from these classes. If we take the classes, maybe we
can help out at the scene of an accident. If we are involved in an
accident, we'll certainly benefit if someone at the scene has had the
classes and knows exactly what to do to help us. It's win/win, but nobody
wins if the class isn't held and nobody gets the training.

Thanks, everyone. I hope to see you at the classes.

Steve Lucas
