PGR_NTX Patriot Guard IMPORTANT Reminder

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Members of the PGR of North Texas,

Please, we implore you, do *NOT* send *ANY* email to mission at txpgr.org.
That is the *SEND-ONLY* address through which information about PGR Missions
is sent to you.  We, your contact coordinators, are seeing an
ever-increasing number of emails sent by our members to that address - this
in addition to an already significant amount of spam.  We must sort through
these messages in order to process the legitimate Mission information.

Recently, a member evidently sent an invitation to their entire address
book to join a social-networking site.  As our address was in the address
book, we were also "invited."  We have contacted the social-networking site
in order to stop any future mailings but, by their own admission, that could
take weeks.  Meanwhile, we are now receiving a significant increase in
emails from various names *but all using our email address*.  This use of *
our* email address by spammers has the potential to cause
mission at txpgr.orgto be listed as a spammer - and
*that* action, over which we have no control, will greatly hamper our
ability to distribute legitimate PGR email!

Please - if you have mission at txpgr.org in your address book - remove it!  If
necessary, identify it as a "white-listed" address or a "safe" address but,
if at all possible, remove it or otherwise ensure that NO EMAIL is sent to
it.

Any questions you have about a message you receive from the list should
always be directed to the Mission Ride Captain identified in the message.

Any questions you have about your subscription to the Mission list (or this
message) should be sent to your contact coordinators using
mission-owner at txpgr.org.
