Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have tendered my resignation as Deputy State Captain of the North Texas
PGR to the Texas State Captain effective September 12, 2009. I have served
in this capacity for right at a year now and it's time to turn over the
mantle to another person.

I have always said how honored I am that you all allow me to stand in the
flag line with you and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I think
that the North Texas PGR is the finest PGR organization that exists
anywhere. The Ride Captains are the finest men and women and most dedicated
to the mission that exist anywhere on the planet and the riders are beyond
compare. No matter how short the notice, no matter what the weather, no
matter how far the distance, you never fail to honor those we serve and
their families. I love you all.

It's time for me to take a break and let some of this fine leadership talent
take the reins and move us forward.

May God bless each of you and your families and keep you safe. You are all
outstanding human beings and I thank you for allowing me to have held this
position and to have learned from you all. Your kindness and understanding
have not gone unnoticed and I am grateful beyond my ability to adequately
express.

I'll see you soon.

Steve
