We will set our flag line and stand tall and silent to receive family and
guests as they arrive for the service. The service will consist of a
memorial service only. There is no procession or graveside service for this
mission. Once the service begins we will break down the flag line and the
riders will be free to go. There will be a supper following the memorial
service and all riders have been invited to attend.
Weather: Forecast for Sunday is for possible thunderstorms with a high of
80 degrees.
While we recognize that there are other missions also planned on Saturday.
Riders not attending those or not in the geographical area of those missions
please consider attending this one. We know that the family of Mr. Brawner
would be most grateful.
The flag/water truck will be there.
Safety First: With warmer weather, please remember to properly hydrate
(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress
appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you
need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time.
Also please do not forget your sun screen.
Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this veteran and his family.
Respectfully Submitted,
Steve "Badger" Lucas
North Texas Deputy State Captain
