Obituary: 
Roshier "Bill" Watts Jr., 64, passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Winscott Road Memorial Chapel, 1001 Winscott Rd. Interment pending in D/FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Winscott Road Funeral Home.
Memorials: The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society .
Bill was born Oct. 28, 1945, in Whitesville, N.C. He served in the U.S. Navy from July 10, 1963, to March 8, 1974. He was a Vietnam veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star, and the National Defense Service Medal.
Bill was employed by Vandervoort's Dairy in Fort Worth as a maintenance supervisor from 1982 to 2000. He was an avid bass fisherman, and enjoyed golf and bowling.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Margaret Watts, July 1, 1993; father, Roshier Watts Sr., April 23, 1999; brother, Roy Eugene Watts, Oct. 9, 1954; brother, William Jefferson Watts, June 13, 2003; stepchild, Debra Lynn Farmer.
Survivors: Loving wife of 28 years, Pat Hendricks Watts; daughter, Michelle A. Mantz (Doug) of Goshin, Ohio; son, Michael K. Watts (Gwen) of Fort Worth; son, Howard Ray Vance Watts of Pampa; son, Bill Christopher "Blue" Watts of Newport, N.C.; stepdaughter, Jennifer L. Gatlin (Rodney) of Crockett; stepson, Kristofer D. Herman of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; stepchildren, Shelia Harrison, Yvonne Laveck, and Firman Ray Turner; brothers, James Harold (Jean) Watts of Pinion Hills, Calif., and Mitchell (Hazel) Watts of Spartenburg, N.C.; sisters, Nancy Carol (R.C.) Ward of Denton, N.C., Jean Scott, widow of Chuck, of Thomasville, N.C., Frances Spivey (Laverne) of Fayetteville, N.C., Christine Watts, widow of William Williams, of Thomasville, N.C., Cathy Ammons of Greensboro, N.C., and Teresa Triegleff of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Michael, Heather, Dustin, Christa, Justin, Princess Jessica, J.D., (step-grandchildren, Katy and Tori), Amber, Amanda, Hannah, Christopher "Blue," and Desiray; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Jonathon and Aimee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews

- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated. 

- Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family. 

- Please remember that our parking area is now on the main road between shelters A and B. Funerals are being staged at the Administration building and in the area by the lake. We will park facing up the hill toward shelter A with 2 bikes side by side as close to the curb and each other as possible so that traffic can get by. This arrangement keeps the motorcycle and voice noise to a minimum around the shelters during the services and appears to meet the needs of the cemetery. We will assemble in this area and not around the shelters until it is time to move to the shelter to set up for the service. Exceptions to this parking arrangement are, as always, made for those who have difficulty walking.
