Mission:
Mr. Clarence Lambert passed on to be with the Lord from his battle with Cancer, his fight is finally over.The PGR will honor this American Hero who served in the United States Navy during WWII at the invasion of Okinawa and served in the Korean War. Mr. Lambert continued to honor America's fallen veterans as a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. The Lambert's have become a second family to so many of us. It will be our honor to show our repect, love and continuous support to this special family as we Stand Tall for Clarence.
Obituary:
Clarence Monroe Lambert, age 87, a long time resident of Grand Prairie passed away Wednesday surrounded by his family at his home. At his side was his wife of 68 years, Winnie Lambert, they were married June 7, 1942. He is also survived by a daughter, Donna Underwood of Grand Prairie, three sons; David Lambert and wife, Diane of Blooming Grove, Ken Lambert and wife, Jeanette of Joshua, Mike Lambert and wife Sandi of Ft. Worth, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Clarence served in the Navy during WWII, surviving numerous kamikaze attacks during the invasion of Okinawa. He also served his country in the Korean War. He retired as a butcher from Kroger Foods. Clarence served and protected his community for twenty-four years as a member of the Grand Prairie Police Department. Though fighting cancer, Clarence found the strength to honor America’s fallen veterans while serving as a member of the Patriot Guard Riders.
Clarence and Winnie were charter members of the Matthew Road Baptist Church and have spent the last 55 years in Grand Prairie, making wonderful friends while helping those in the community who needed a hand up.

Visitation will be held at Bean, Massey, Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie Texas. There will be a short briefing. After the briefing we will Stand Tall and Silent for this American Hero as the family and guests arrive.

Mr. Lambert's service will be at Matthew Road Baptist Church in Grand Prairie Texas. At 10:15 AM we will have our mission / safety briefing. The PGR will Stand Tall and Silent for this American Hero. Shortly after the service begins, we will break down flag line and prepare for procession and Interment service at DFW National Cemetery. LEO will provide escort from Matthew Road Baptist Church to DFW National Cemetery. Time of departure will be discussed at briefing.

Anyone not able to participate in Part 2 please stage at DFW National Cemetery no later than 1:00. The Information Center will provide details on location of pavilion used for Interment. Please help set all flags that are available. For those part of the escort: Big flag bikes will stay with the procession all others please go to the pavilion.

Comments:
- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.
- Safety First: With warmer weather, please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.
