<p class=MsoNormal>The PGR has been invited by the Texas Veterans Commission in
Denton to attend a Veterans Day event in Sanger, TX on Wednesday, November 12,
2008 at 2:00 PM at Clear Creek Intermediate School. The students at the school
have written essays about what patriotism means to them, the 5<sup>th</sup>
graders have put together a musical, a flag that was flown in Iraq will be
presented to the school and a local service member who is home on R&R from
Iraq (who obtained the flag) is expected to be present as Sanger is his home
town. This is to be the Veterans Day event for the city of Sanger.
The event is scheduled to be outdoors and the PGR has been asked to show
support for the kids and to show “what patriotism and veterans mean.”
What a great opportunity to make an impression on these young people. The
Texas Veterans Commission will be hosting the event.<o:p></o:p></p>
