the Army Air Corps as a Cadet Flight Trainee. He received his wings and
commission as a 2nd Lieutenant and in 1944 he completed his B-17 bomber pilot
training and was assigned overseas with the U.S. 15th Air Force, based at
Foggia Italy.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

chapel parking lot. The funeral itself will take place at the Wildwood
Chapel, which is inside of the cemetery area on the west side of the
property. We will move together from the main chapel to the Wildwood
Chapel where we will place the flags and stand the flag line until shortly
after commencement of the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. At that time we
will remove the flags and move to the burial site. Big flag bikes will
remain and ride as an escort with the <span class=yshortcuts>funeral procession</span>
to the burial site.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
