Carpenter, a PGR member. Mr. Howell <span class=content1>was born on
August 31, 1927 in Moore Haven, Florida to Amedicus and Beatrice
Howell. He and his wife Charlene Howell were married on March 6, 1981 in
Durant Oklahoma. He was a Navy veteran, having served from 1944 until
1964; serving in WW II, the Korean War and the Viet Nam War as a boiler
tender aboard navy ships. He also served at Guantanamo Bay during the
Cuban Crisis. </span><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span class=content1> </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span class=content1>He is survived by his wife of
nearly 28 years, Charlene Howell of Joshua, sons, Rick Howell of
Florida, Jimmie Carpenter of Ft. Worth, Jeff Carpenter of Maypearl, Jason
Carpenter of Cleburne, two brothers and ten grand children.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
