the U. S. Marines (where he was the top recruit in his training class) and,
after working as a policeman, served again in the military as an Army pilot,
flying helicopters in Vietnam. He chose to pursue a lifelong Army career
and even returned to the Far East when his first tour of duty ended. It
was on his last mission, coming back from a troop deployment in Vietnam, that
his helicopter got shot down, leaving him and his badly wounded commanding
officer stranded in enemy territory.<span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal style='border:none;padding:0in'>The General’s widow
said that he specifically stated that he didn’t want “a big

mission will be an interment only mission for General Ware. The shelter
assignment is not known at this time. Please check at the visitor center
upon arrival for the proper shelter assignment and park in the area below that

the briefing, big flag bikes will leave to meet the funeral party and others will
remain at the staging area below the shelter and prepare to ready the shelter
site for General Ware’s service at the earliest opportunity following the
service prior to his. We will use the flags in storage at the shelter for
this part of the mission.<b> <o:p></o:p></b></p>

aware of the possibility of blocked entrances to the cemetery. An
entrance that we believe will always be open is the one near the administration
building on Mountain Creek Parkway about half way up the hill, approaching Spur
408 and Loop 12. <i><u>The map in this document shows that entrance and
not the main entrance we are used to – just in case.<o:p></o:p></u></i></b></p>

(including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress

always welcome and appreciated. Due to no procession being required for
this mission, and the forecast for high heat, a cage might be advisable with
the possible exception of big flag bikes, which are preferable to escort the
family and Mr. Jones to the shelter. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
