died Sunday, July 5, 2009 in Wichita, KS from injuries sustained in a
motorcycle accident. Born March 4, 1942 in Venita, OK he was the son of
Jonas Maurice and Martha Louise Speed Street. He and his wife Arlene were
longtime Dallas area residents. Following his retirement as a UPS Manager
he resided at Lake Cypress Springs near Mt. Vernon, Texas. Following his
marriage to Marceline Masten on May 24, 2002 they returned to Stafford.
He was an Army veteran of Vietnam serving two tours and receiving the Purple
Heart and the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Stafford Main Street,
American Legion, American Legion Riders, lifetime member of the United
Methodist Church, President and Charter member of the Friends of Texas Vietnam
Veterans Memorial, past President of the Lewisville Bass Club, North Texas
Emmaus and Kairos Ministeries and member of the Mt. Vernon V.F.W.<span
style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p></o:p></span></p>

the briefing, big flag bikes will leave to meet the funeral party and others
will remain at the staging area and prepare to ready the shelter site for Mr.
Street’s service at the earliest opportunity following the service prior
to his. We will use the flags in storage at the shelter for this part of

aware of the possibility of blocked entrances to the cemetery. An
entrance that we believe will always be open is the one near the administration
building on Mountain Creek Parkway about half way up the hill, approaching Spur

not the main entrance we are used to – just in case.<o:p></o:p></u></i></b></p>

9, 2009 we have a different assignment when parking/staging our vehicles at the
cemetery. We will no longer park down on Patriot Parkway in the
“lower” area nearest the lake. The cemetery is now using that
area to stage services. We will park on the main road – Lone Star
Circle – <u>between</u> shelters A and B. We will park facing up
the hill toward shelter A. We will park the motorcycles side by side,
next to the curb. Please do <i>not</i> back them in. Stay by the
motorcycles for briefing and any additional instructions. Please remember
that we are very close to the ongoing services while we are in this area and
vehicle noise and voice noise </b><b><span style='font-size:13.0pt'>must be
kept to a minimum at all times! </span>The flag bikes need to pay
attention to where they park so that they can leave the area to escort the
families if necessary. Please park close to the curb and as close as
possible to each other so we take up as little space on the roadway as we can.</b><b><span
style='font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'><o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

this mission, and the forecast for high heat, a cage might be advisable with
the possible exception of big flag bikes, which are preferable to escort the
