<p class=MsoNormal>It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of a
new Assistant Deputy State Captain. Dewey Dyer has stepped forward once again
to serve the PGR. Dewey has spent many hours in support of the North Texas
Patriot Guard Riders and his devotion to honoring the veterans is an example to
us all. I look forward to having Dewey to lean on and to have him contribute
his support in a position where his expertise can best be utilized. Dewey and I
will be working together to assure the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders have all
the information and support they need to accomplish the missions in the highest
possible standard. Those of you who have had the pleasure of working with Dewey
in the past know his heart felt concern for the veterans, the families of
America’s fallen hero’s and his dedication to the safety of the
riders. I have talked with the State Captain, past Deputy State Captains,
Senior Ride Captains, Ride Captains and most importantly the Riders and I feel
this is the right decision at the right time for the North Texas Patriot Guard.
